Friday June 21 - Trey Stapleton Band

Trey Stapleton Band - Scholars maintain that the Trey Stapleton Band was born at the Dizzy Rooster in Austin, TX, circa 2006. Trey and John Jammal (drums) had separately left the bar that Trey had just played and ran into each other over at the Dizzy Rooster. Having watched Trey's acoustic set, John approached Trey to talk about music. After a bunch of drinks and a discussion uncovering the common desire to start up a Texas Country band, they realized that they had just stumbled onto an opportunity to make it happen. John went straight to the studio with Trey to work on a project that Trey had already begun, and their first musical creation came to life. These recordings are long gone, but it was the beginning of the Trey Stapleton Band. Afterwards, John and Trey began practicing in their friend's garage and the rest is history...

Saturday June 22 - Tessy Lou and The Shotgun Stars

Tessy Lou Williams’ has a passion for music and songwriting that began early in her life. Her parents, Kenny and Claudia Williams, formed the core of a western musical legend in Montana – the band Montana Rose. One of her earliest memories was falling asleep in a guitar case backstage, dreaming and singing along to the country folk tunes of the band. By the time Tessy Lou reached the sixth grade in Willow Creek, Montana (population 150), she had learned to play the cello, piano, guitar, saxophone and clarinet. Tessy Lou and the Shotgun Stars play great Country music that is packing dance floors throughout Texas and beyond…
